Heflin has been named a Tree City USA community by the Arbor
Day Foundation to honor its commitment to community forestry.
It is the fourteenth year Heflin has received this national
recognition. Heflin has met the four standards to become a
Tree City USA community: a tree board or department, a tree
care ordinance, a comprehensive community forestry program,
and an Arbor Day observance

Business License Information If you operate a business within the city limits of Heflin, you are required by Heflin City Business License Ordinance #2007-1211 to obtain a business license. Please complete this form and submit to The City of Heflin. You will receive an invoice for the amount due. The business license year runs from January 1 through December 31.
